City Garden Chinese Restaurant - Perth

Eating was so good that I forgot to make a photo until we were halfway through our dinner. we had the golden aubergine, xo tiger prawn vermicelli topf, izzling tofu, fried pork, crispy vege meat, belacan kangkung and deep fried darm.

We first came a few weeks before a gig here and expected a cheap and cheerful departure. it was certainly cheap (two of us ate buck for about $40), but the quality was much better than I expected. if they are in really sharp Chinese cuisine, they need to ask for extra chili.

Eating was okay. service was poor, but what do you expect? it is not difficult to give us a menu, to give us back our teekanne and some rice husband was not impressed, only came back to give this place another chance.

25/1/2017 incredible declines in standards. huh are much over boiled and seems to be in a refrigerator for a time or so, so there is a strong after the taste of the thawing. steam prawns with the price is reasonably cooked, but over availed with soy sauce that disappeared the garnel juice by steaming. a clever way to hide fresh ones. the service with the lady boss is not bad. do not think much done by serving waiter who serves a table of 4 with single teekanne. overall disappointing ...

Me and my friends eat out in northbridge a lot. We thought we would try a different Chinese restaurant and we stumbled across this one. We came on Sunday night at about 12:20am it was quiet busy, the service was lacking stuff where running around like mad, we wanted Chinese broccoli but they where sold out, we had fresh barramundi with ginger it, we had a chicken dish which was a little powdery. Other then that the food was amazing. I will come back and try it for a second time and see if it is different
