Haven Lounge - Perth (WA)

The food served was nice, but hardly a variety and limited in a healthy selection, although beautiful, what was available, one would think in today's health conscious awareness society, it seems that the western has not thought outside the square.

I had a lovely afternoon tea as part of the weekend in Paris at the Haven Lounge, Westin Perth. It was very nice!! My nieces and I were also really appreciative of the great array of savoury dishes for vegetarians.. the tiny little mushroom snack was delightful and the pink brioche with perfectly creamy tofu was a pleasing surprise..we really appreciated the effort that was put into a usually blase and generally a second thought menu. Just a couple of things.. the waitstaff were welcoming and friendly but I would have wanted a bit more attentiveness and be asked if we wanted more tea and coffee through the afternoon in what was supposed to be bottomless tea and coffee..we were only approached when last tea and coffees were called...but again nothing major just a small observation..thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Very accommodating as one of our party added on one of her children at the last minute. It was no problem atall to the staff and they very kindly put together a plate for him. Food presented very nicely and tasted great. Customer service was good but felt the staff could have been a bit warmer. We also got asked many times if we were finished our food with still half of the tier to go. Felt very rushed. Also would recommend maybe going to each table with a big pot of tea/coffee rather than putting orders in for each as they took quite a long time to get to the table. Beautiful location, gorgeous lounge but lacking in ambience. Could have had some music as it was very quiet. Again, very accommodating to add the extra person and greatly appreciated.

Whilst food was great staff shortages meant it was almost one hour later we got sever glass of wine and then 20 minutes later got tea and waited for cups. No toilet paper in toilets. Felt sorry for staff who were trying very hard.
