Rudy's Mexican Cantina Grill - Peoria

Me and my girlfriend ate here last night and met Rudy, the owner. He is not only a great guy but an amazing cook. He brought me out a taco to try and then after that brought a pastor sandwich to take home, just to try. What a great dinning experience and the food was so good, I left feeling stuffed.

There were three of us and we all loved our entrees. Good chips, and salsa and guacamole were delicious. I'm very particular about my margaritas and Rudy's are the best I've had in Peoria. Our server was Rudy's daughter and so friendly and attentive! We'll definitely be back.

Food was terrible found hair in food and food was not hot. The chicken had a weird taste

Service was excellent. Our waiter was awesome. This was our first attempt at Illinois mexican food. We knew it wouldn't be like California. Beans were fine…veggie fajitas weren't grilled well and were pretty greasy. My daughter's fish tacos weren't a whitefish..but seemed more like catfish cubes in cornmeal. Ordered burrito Grande with no bean. Was cold but decent. Also ordered burrito Grande with mole sauce. Worst mole sauce I ever tasted.$62......never again!!!!
