The Fountain Inn - Penzance

The staff here are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. The landlady is also very helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy, but they could use bigger TVs. The food and drinks are vibrant and provide great value. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5, service a 5, and location a 5. This hotel truly offers a touch of luxury.

Had an amazing time at the Fountain Inn. Tracy is a lovely host always happy to chat and hear about your day. The room was lovely and easily accessible. The locals really made the place though, and made us feel very welcome. Would 100% book again in the future and have already recommended the place to our friend. Missing Millie (a beautiful well behaved dog) who added an extra bit of enjoyment to our stay. Rooms: Spacious room with an entrance that goes straight outside so we didn't need to go through the pub when we needed to leave or return. Comfy beds and plenty of space to put our items. Nearby activities: Penzance is only a 10/20minute drive away and there are plenty of buses. Lots of little heritage sites spotted around the countryside. Most big attractions only an hour drive away as well so pretty good place to stay if you want to go all over. Food drinks: Great breakfast every morning (gorgeous scrambled eggs). Drinks are really reasonably priced which was good because it was lovely spending some of our evenings in the pub chatting, listening to a fantastic local singer, or simply reading our books.
