The Village Bakery And - Penrith

I went to the restaurant looking for vegan cake options, but was told they didn't have any. They did offer gluten-free options, but it's concerning that a place catering to vegan customers doesn't seem to understand the difference between vegan and gluten-free.

We only purchased some food from the store as we were short on time for lunch (although it looked delicious). The buns and olive bread we bought were delightful. Their food items are also available in select supermarkets, such as Booths in Keswick.

I visited the restaurant looking for vegan cake options, but unfortunately, they only had gluten-free cakes. It was disappointing to see a place that offers vegan food not be aware of the difference between vegan and gluten-free options.

Went for cuppa cake, asked for vegan cake options told no vegan cake, but they had gluten-free. for a place that offers vegan food, it is disturbing that they do not seem to know the difference between vegan gf!
