He had run out of cake and couldn't make snacks, as he couldn't leave the counter. We had takeaway drinks which were fine but it was disappointing that we couldn't have more. Well done to the young man managing on his own.
Sadly very disappointed by this cafe which is in a prime location. Paper plates and cups? Understandable if it was a one off but it is now the norm here. Cream tea was OK but unremarkable and they are really missing the opportunity to give visitors a memorable (for the right reasons) treat.
This used to be our favourite dog friendly coffee shop and we have visited on our holidays for the last 8 years. Last year the upstairs was closed, we assumed after covid. We tried again this year for coffee and lunch, to be told the kitchen was closed 18 months ago and the only tables are downstairs in the shop, with no windows and coffee and cake only. We left as we wanted food but could see someone upstairs enjoying a coffee. Went straight to the pub next door for an excellent lunch. Won't be trying Pebbles again. So disappointing.
Sorry to say, coffee weak, had to go upstairs to collect in a paper cup, lack of food options and afternoon tea was poor, the man downstairs was pleasant but the staff serving the coffee was not very enthusiastic, being disabled not a very good experience
Exceptionally good coffee, both the smooth Americano and the creamy latte. Would heartily recommend. And yes paper cups but there is a very nice garden nearby with great views to the coast!
