The place enjoys in a lovely setting, high up on the Tuscan hills with great views in every direction, above olive groves and vineyards, driving into the driveway it looked at bit like they are still working on the place as I think the new owners have only started up 2 years or so ago.... the restaurant is upstairs and it was scorching hot withoug AC or fan and without windows. The robust tables are all made of simple wood and are a bit wobbly but set nicely and we were warmly welcomed by the staff.. They had prepared a four course set meal for us starting with a green vegetable tartlet with percorino sauce grilled aubergines, perfectly cooked and very tasty. Then we had spinach ricotta pasta that was also delicious followed by sliced pork with a huge plate of fresh vegetables and topped off by a gorgeous tiramisu..... we washed it all down with their own label red wine and bought six bottles of this plus their olive oil to take home with us.... They also showed us the rooms and the grounds, which look very nicely restored and are a real mix of Tuscan old and fresh new modern styles. Very nice place run by very nice people....€25 pp for lunch at an agriturismo is not cheap but I think it was well worth it...compliments to the chef!
