Lagondola - Pekin

My Italian beef was cold and undercooked, our garlic bread was hardly finished and literally had no garlic butter on it, and the meatballs we ordered were not existent, all we received was a container full of sauce... very dissatisfied with the overall experience and will not return to this place.

I wish all locations were like the Bartonville, Illinois location. I have food from the Pekin, Illinois location and my goodness, which is a difference and not in a good way. The spaghetti was great, therefore the 2 stars, but the bread in garlic ot torpedo form was so quiet and did not seem fresh, but very different from the Bartonville location. That was terrible and the reheating was worse. Can the places coordinate?

I had some money for a sample dinner on Friday. Eating was ready when we arrived on time, they loaded everything in the van. It was great until we removed the lid of the lasagna and saw that the whole pan was very overcooked, cheese and edges were darkened. When we cut it and started serving, we could see that the entire lower layer was burned, the flesh texture overtakes and dry. They would be very disappointed that apparently overcooked food leaves their shop for an event. The pan costs $95. Before you pay for your food, look at this. If I had known, I would have left it there.

Just got a chef salad from you. The lettuce is barely edible. Too much cabbage. This was my first time trying you and I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I doubt I will be coming back.

Have yet to find anything that I do not like or care for from this place. Well, except diet soda. I recommend the Pizza Burger and a couple of their Chocolate Chip Cookies. Now those things are actually in a completely different league of their own. Girl running the counter could put on a smile. But I am sure the volume of customers is just plain mind blowing. Anyways stop reading and just Go ! Thank me later.
