The brothers who own the truck were very friendly and excited to share how their food is made and offer samples. You could tell they are proud of their business, and deservedly so. The birria tacos were amazing!
I love that they have quesabirria tacos I don't love that 4 of them cost $13, but that's the Los Angeles taco truck snob in me talking. The texture is right, oily and crispy but still pliable. The meat could be more flavorful, and it would be nice if the salsa packed any heat at all.
Nope. We got food from their food truck/trailer at a nearby community last night and were so disappointed. My chicken quesadilla was virtually naked since they were out of both lettuce and tomatoes only 40 minutes into their 2.5 hour time slot. The chicken was minced and there was very little of it; it was bland. Husband got meat street tacos and they were very greasy. And we were surprised to see that they put the toppings they did have, like raw onions and chopped cilantro, onto a table outside the truck for everyone there to grab with tongs, which was less than appealing, especially during our Covid times. Finally, they were out of the churros they had advertised. Overall, we wanted to love them, and perhaps they just had a bad night. but we are not risking a repeat of that lousy meal.
Try the quesa birria. A bit salty but very delicious
