The place has a terrible odor, as if everything has been there since it opened. The staff is also very rude. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything from this restaurant; the back area is particularly unpleasant. I would suggest avoiding this place entirely.

The restaurant had an unpleasant odor, and the staff was rude. I tried to book a party, but they wouldn't accept a credit card for the reservation—only cash, which they didn't mention during the phone call. When we arrived to book, the woman was incredibly rude and seemed uninformed about the party prices and packages. The smell in the place was also quite off-putting. We decided not to book and chose another venue for the party. I strongly recommend that you consider going somewhere else.

This place is unlike anything else. It would be a good candidate for #AtlasObscura. All I can say is that once you visit Cedar Chest, you will never forget it. Everyone should visit at least once. And if you are traveling through, give it a peek.

I was uncertain about their hours, but when I saw the open sign, I decided to walk in for some ice cream. Unfortunately, we were immediately met with barking dogs and a cluttered environment. A woman approached us quite rudely, informing us that they were closing in five minutes and that she wouldn't serve us. We understand that arriving close to closing time can be awkward, and we turned around to leave. However, the combination of her attitude, the barking dogs, and the mess left a poor first impression. We genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses, but we won't be returning to this one.

Wow!!! The dust!! The unsanitary handling of the ice cream cones! The vast collection of junk! My recommendation to the owner: Stick with your 2 best sellers and get rid of all the other junk. You're not Wahooz.
