Puréed beetroot with a lot of water and a touch of salt, sprinkled with some cress. Horrible. The pasta with beetroot “pesto” had absolutely nothing to do with pesto! It was very overcooked and the so called “pesto” was a splash of the same soup mentioned earlier! Vile, completely tasteless and looking truly ugly a pinkish goo in a bowl. Would never serve a dish looking like that to anybody. We had to send both dishes back to the kitchen as there was no way we could eat them. There was another man at the table next to us who sent 3/4 of the same soup back to the kitchen and the waitress asked him if he didn’t enjoy it, to which he replied that it was not his favourite. To be fair I think he was just being kind. Whoever was cooking that day is clearly not a chef and certainly not even an amateur with a good flavour. Sorry! Zero stars if I could. Shame in such a lovely location.
We visited this café near university last weekend with our little son. The coffee was great, we had cappucino and two great and original cakes, which were homemade. The space is really comfortable and elegant. You can taste some soups or other small dishes. The waitress was really very nice.
From top to bottom a beautiful ambience with great attention to detail. Thanks to Karo for the sensational and tasteful cuisine right at the Inn!
I'm really impressed what you can do from a bread so everything can be super delicious. Luckily I don't have far and come back
Anyone who goes over the Fifth Bridge should return here (or vice versa). Very inconspicuous, almost hidden but inside with lots of charm and warm service. Good cakes, snacks and lunches. You can also sit outside.
