I think they gloomy their butt, and with Covid, I feel they are understated, but don't complain or make excuses, it seems they fight through and deliver a good product. I understand if a customer is disappointed, but we all need to remember that these employees work, best they can serve you to the best of it, for minimum wage. Be nice, understanding, appreciation, give them encouragement, thank you, and if it is not great, it is a meal, how many you will eat. It's not the end of the world, but your kindness to them, I'm sure will pick up their spirits and encourage them to do even better, isn't it? Whatever you do. We're all imperfect, but Americans, those Wendys, the employees, will make you right...
I heard the manager who gave his team an inspiring speech. The drive-thru line was long. And the grill went out. The speech he gave to his team to keep ghosts there was amazing. He has great leadership.
Grand reopening with new employees following a lengthy remodel so I cut them a little slack. The chicken sandwiches were good. The small fries were quite a bit under filled. For some reason, they packed my order three combo meals into three separate sacks. Overall, not too bad with a promise of good job once they get some experience.
First time eating there since the re-opening and I am quite honestly disappointed. The drive-through was packed so me and my pregnant fiancé went inside because we thought it would be quicker but that was not the case at all. The drive-through was being prioritized over the customers inside. There wasn’t anyone taking orders for the customers inside. We had to wait 15 minutes before anyone took our order and another 10 minutes before we even got our food. The food was overall pretty good but the service was pretty much bottom tier.
It’s clear that you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig with makeup. You can dress the outside of the establishment in nice trappings and refresh the interior, but these things don’t bring substance to the franchise or the quality of food you receive. We were missing about HALF of our order, which amounted to about $20 worth of “lost” food. If you try to speak to the staff, you’re dismissed out of hand and the phone lines are closed. To top it all off, Wendy’s corporate support is nonexistent. Better to save yourself time and money and just go to McDonalds instead.
