El Tapatio - Parachute

This restaurant is amazing in every way - the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It feels like a little piece of Mexico right here in Colorado.

Wow! The food at this restaurant is phenomenal! My husband and I stayed in Parachute for one night and were not expecting to find such great food in this little town. We were blown away by the Mexican cuisine here - my husband is from Mexico and we both agreed that this is the best Mexican food we have tried in Colorado since moving here in May 2023. We have visited many places along the Front Range, but this place definitely stands out. My husband works in Grand Junction, so he will be coming back often, and I will definitely visit whenever we pass through. The portion sizes are huge, which caught us off guard. I personally ordered the steak Chipotle and thought it was the best dish on the menu. The Chipotle sauce was amazing!

The staff was very friendly, and the salsa, chips, and salad they serve are delicious. However, the main dishes were disappointing.

Comparing the others restaurants when we’re traveling this is very good restaurant because last night we stopped at Salina, Utah at a el Mexicano restaurant and the difference is like my son said night and day, here the service is very good, the food is very good, definitely we will stop again in the future. We loved it

Absolutely love this location! We always stop In when we are in town. They have great food with equally great service.
