Spalti - Palo Alto

This restaurant was amazing! High quality food and service made this eatery shine. We were a group of six and they were very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back here!

At 6:30, there was only one couple eating. When we left over an hour later, all the indoor tables were occupied, except the table for a large group. Even though the two servers were busy, all the tables were being attended to, our food was well prepared and brought out promptly. I appreciated the way our waitress made sure we were pleased with our meal, without being bothersome. We are already thinking about when we can return!

We walked in and it was empty, almost left as it seemed impossible to find a reservation elsewhere that evening so we took it as an ominous sign. Instead, the food was delicious and our business guests commented on how much they enjoyed it.

Spalti serves really good Italian food Hot dishes are served hot and sauces are robust and flavorful. Service is prompt, although sometimes a bit slow when the restaurant is busy. The only drawback is that it can be pretty loud when it gets crowded--there are no soft surfaces to absorb the sound. Even so, the food is certainly a worthy dining experience.
