Freddies Kitchen At The Cole

This was my second visit to Freddy's, and once again, the quality of the food and the overall experience were outstanding.

A hidden gem! The food is wonderful. While the ambiance could use some improvement, Chef Fredric Pierre is creating some fantastic dishes. You should definitely give this place a try!

It was GREAT! Freddie and our server Christina were extremely kind and truly guided us through their menu. The Le Citron cocktail was excellent and they also gave us a great wine pairing with our meal. I had the escargot and my husband had the tomato salad and both were flavorful and delicious! We had the chicken special and short rib bolognese, also both delicious. Ended with the most delicious and simple crème brûlée. As a part timer in Palm Springs, this is a hidden jewel and wish Freddie and team much success and will definitely be back!

Our food was very good, as was service. The setting could use a boost, with perhaps some music for background. When it opened, Freddie's was really good value, but prices have climbed appreciably (not unusual, but the inflation feels like it's more than average for PS restaurants). We appreciate the chef-owner's friendliness and inter-activity, but one or two check-ins during a meal should be enough.
