Rump's Bbq - Palestine

I visited 4 BBQ places on my most recent visit to Texas and the other 3 didn't even stand up to Rump's. Carlos and his crew are absolutely great, the ribeye is hand cut and grilled to perfection. The turkey breast is so good as well. This is a must visit place near Palestine.Food: 5/5

The absolute best steak you will ever taste!! The rest of the menu is great too. It's a great dining experience with friendly staff including the owners who make sure you've had a great experience!!

OK, had brisket sandwich, fries. Tried gumbo, bit salty. Dark place with windows on exterior walls, glare in a dark place. OMG cake good, the others looked dry. Frozen fries, OK. Many flies outside, a bit concerning.Food: 4/5

Omg ! The desserts ? Better grab one as soon as you walk in the door or it may vanish ! Absolutely wonderful place to be ....especially if you're hungry ! Owners make you feel like family , oh yeah the food is great too ! (Corn casserole and turkey is my favorite ? Can't believe I had not made a written review ?
