Emmett's Ale House - Palatine

We visited Emmett's for drinks and dessert. Dan, who seated us, was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions both before and after our visit. Our server, Shelby, was well-versed in their whiskey selection and was very approachable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return for a full meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the atmosphere! There was a lovely fire outside that made for a cozy setting on a chilly night. Although the menu was limited, the food was delicious. I particularly loved the artichoke dip!

We were in the mood for something different for dinner—I was craving fish, while my husband wanted a juicy burger. We placed our order online, and it arrived right on time. My husband’s burger looked fantastic, cooked to medium rare with a light crust and served on a toasted bun that retained its crunch perfectly. He exclaimed that it was the best burger he had ever tasted! That’s a big claim considering how many burgers he has tried! My whitefish was beautifully seared on the outside and flaky and tender inside. The silky lemon butter sauce with capers added a rich texture and flavor that really elevated the dish. It came with perfectly seasoned mashed potatoes and green beans. We were both delighted with our meals and can’t wait to order from Emmet's again soon! Thank you for a memorable dining experience!

I've been going to this restaurant for years, and it never fails to impress. The staff is outstanding and always offers great recommendations. The variety of beers and drinks is remarkable, and the food is consistently delicious. It's a perfect spot for a date, a casual get-together, or even parties. I haven't had the chance to try the prime rib yet, but after enjoying the filet mignon, I'm sure it must be amazing.
