Nice eating, nice staff. the octpus, ravioli, arancini were some of the favorites. oh the affogato too. the small plates are in fact quite small, so they don't expect much amount for the money, but I didn't get a dish that was actually a disappointment.
In padstow for a few days to stay, surely it will be one or two fine restaurants adventurous, but outside of those, they always hope to find another type of restaurant, sit a more casual place, eat and relax at these other times, somewhere to park after a walk, break a frecher afternoon chocolate brownie maybe or an evening dinner that they can enjoy without. for us, on our visit in padstow, this place was quickly rojano 's on the square. rojano 's on the square is how the restaurant 's own website describes 'an italian influenced family restaurant' and has been serving for almost 40 years in padstow under the rojano 's banner. in 2010 rojano 's changed the property, with the new owners, the same team behind the now michelin played number 6 restaurant around the corner, paul ainsworth and his business partner derek mapp. while paul and derek preserved the essential of rojanos character, his ethos, the Italian heritag
It's been a few years since our last lucky visit. the Aranchini balls were the lasting memory (not forget the first-class service). we need a couple of days in Nord-Eckenwand and a contract, we just booked a table online. we decided to travel on the super reliable ferry of rock instead of driving, it adds to the experience. check the flut times as the flut can mean a walk on the beach. this is both a pleasure in dry weather as well as a suitable footwear, but a series of cure and new hair in rain could end in a heated debate. (I was known to plan badly). after a very pleasant (COVID safe trip on the ferry and a fun filled short walk over the beach on both sides we arrived in padstow. a pub of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs presents it almost chaotic around a quiet enclosed harbour. after a short walk around us we dived a little early in rojanos (before everyone got the taste for shopping before lunch). we were greeted with a warm welcome and included in the well-known stylish facility. the employees are attentively passionate and part of the entire experience. the menu is simple, but a dish was selected before the arrival and not disappointed. the pizzas are very special, but we decided to start a few and see how it goes. naturally drink a tasty bite in itself. I had a pint of offshore pilots (very moorish, but not today. connected with a bub and a crippled water. now the decisions were perfect and we had a selection of four. just lay them ripen, ragu on baked kartoffel, crockett 's and of course aranchini balls. all followed by a manhattan (I have jumped pudding like I have reported on a diet
We had a lovely meal here on our first night away, first time visitors. The restaurant is beautiful, with wonderfully attentive staff members. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly and polite. The food was delicious, we had a burger and pizza, with the special seaweed chips. All was super tasty and the ice cream is phenomenal. We had a couple of requests, not on the menu, and both were actioned with no problems or complaints at all. We will definitely visit again.
