Food was overpriced, especially given its poor quality, and the service was bad. The lady was rude and made the whole meal uncomfortable. They behaved as if customers had had such trouble and they would rather not be there.
Love the historical aspect of this place. Had an excellent ribey and the drinks were spot on
I gather that this place was forever in Pacifica. It has an ideal location right on the highway in a beautiful old building. The food is sad. It hardly reaches mediocrity. Even the simplest things in this restaurant seem to fail. The bread is full. Even the expensive garlic bread. Salat is old and confused and feels like it's been sitting in the restaurant for at least 3 days. Tasteless without texture. The Minestrone soup had a rather unrecognizable taste. The chicken parmesan was nothing to write at home. And the service was pretty slow. All in all, a creepy experience and one that I would not recommend. As a last comment, this mediocre food is very expensive.
The people at the front were nice. First, the website menu prices were like $10 less than my photos that sucked. Secondly, food is not fresh. Our mozzarella sticks came with a frozen center. I shared a seafood combination with someone. Well, the fish was like that. The Calamari rings were not edible. I was excited to try shrimps, but one was not devastated and they did it new, but the next had still say signs that it was not cleaned. The scallops were good without the bread. The sea was not too fresh for seafood. The story of this place was neat. $45 wasted. (It seems as if the good reviews are from locals who have made use of to poor food quality. I'm not a local and I don't come from a state of state of the country. The food was disappointing.
Had some ribeye steak, it was delicious! ?I've eaten there several times over the years, it's always good food! It's in a building that was an actual train station for the Ocean Shore Railroad over 100 years ago, lots of pictures of the area from back in the day!
