When I came to the café, there was a group of waiters around what it seems, the owner who was occupied with him and not the visitors. Service was slow and unfriendly. Don't recommend the café.
Matthew is always on site and welcomes his guests with a warm smile. Staff provide 5 star customer service.
Enjoy this hidden jewel in Pacific Palisades on Sunday. We ordered the huevos rancheros, avocado toast and caught it with a delicious crepe. The ambience is beautiful. If you get there early, you don't have to wait long to get a table. After you can go to the peasant market.
Waiting staff was good, but the food was bad enough to guarantee 1 star. It wasn't just eating well, it was really bad. The ingredients in the crepes appeared from a frozen bag that had been omitted too long, and the goat cheese tasted old. My wife and I felt sick, both ended up half of our meal. Huge disappointment... I expect more of a $15 meal.
Atmosphere here was was nice? but it did not make up for the bad food and service. The potatoes tasted like greasy reheated leftovers. The English muffin was stale. The egg was over cooked and not runny at all. The chilaquiles were decent, maybe a highlight of their menu. I will not be coming back here.
