I think there are better places in oxford to get breakfast. that means the service was never a demolition. the young ladies do it=n excellent work that takes care of everyone. my wife went with the avocado toast this trip, I have a standard two eggs with speck, and cookies / gravy. Wife felt that she was hard to handle with the arugula, but outside of it she enjoyed it. my meal was okay. I think you can get better cookies in town. we'll eat here again and again as long as my wife enjoys.
In a shopping center. Plenty of food and well done. Coffee is very good and we are coffee people. Quick experienced waitresses and waiters. Elvis hangs on the wall. A cool spot for sure. Bacon was great. I would go back as often as I could.
I can see why this Oxford, MS breakfast joint is SO busy and crowded! Great food! We loved it so much we went back the next day and ate there again. Highly recommend the Creole Omelet and the fresh orange juice. The biscuits are to die for! Yummmmmmmmmm!
There was only a 20 minute wait to be seated and our food came pretty quickly once we ordered. Service was all around responsive and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, although I can't say it rocked my world. The crispy potato cake was a bit dry, probably because it was too thin. The decor was 50s Southern diner but it felt more vintage than old.EDIT: unfortunately dropping from five stars to three because the food made me sick.
As usual, breakfast was excellent! Our first visit since the pandemic and everything was delicious! Pecan pancakes with sausage and eggs! My wife had her standby, french toast and bacon! Restaurant was busy but service was efficient and courteous! Make your plans to stop at Big Bad Breakfast!
