Bus Stop Cafe - Owen Sound

Nice place cute quaint. Food and staff were great. Prices were good. Had a great breakfast. Portions were perfect, substituted fruit with no issues or cost.

I have been wanting to try this place for quite a while and I finally had a day off and went expecting a great experience. Big disappointment. My server appeared uninterested in service. The atmosphere was sketchy, the food was overpriced for what is was and it wasn't much. I had the fried egg sandwich with a side of home fries. The potatoes were not seasoned at all and about 1/3 of them were not even cooked completely. The sandwich was fine but for $4.50, the bread should have been better than the run of the mill wonder bread style. Had a glass of water with it and it came to $9.70! I usually love small, kitschy places but this was so underwhelming and overpriced that I can't recommend it.

We have been stopping here for meals for the last 2 years. I have never had a meal I did not like, and the price point is excellent. Great service, friendly staff, and a nice family owned business. On Friday and Saturday night they have Italian night. So refreshing to stop at this bright and cheery light cafe. Do not pass through town without checking them out. You will be glad you did

The decor of this diner is very cute, it's got bright colours and vintage touches. There's standard diner food, and Italian specialties on Friday. The food took a little longer to come out, but it was later in the afternoon and I think only one cook was on. Everything was hot and fresh, and they serve great rye toast.

Definitely try out the home made Italian dinner available Friday and Saturday nights, everything made in house, awesome! Veal, pasta and tiramisu were delicious.
