Hand Jive - Owego

Best authentic cornish pasty in the area. My husband's family is Cornish so he grew up eating pasties and can confirm that these are the real deal. If you get one thing from this place, get the pasty. We also had the empanada and the samosas which were delicious too. Generous filling and handmade pastry crusts. Ugh, so good. Such a local gem.

We gathered the family in Owego for Thanksgiving. The day after our wonderful homemade dinner we opted for takeout from Hand Jive. What a spectacular treat. Everything was made to order. Everything was spectacular. We all enjoyed a well prepared and varied meal. Hand pies of all nations. Since they were all so good, I can't pick a favorite. Try them all.

Great food. And sitting on the deck overlooking the river while eating it can't be beat!
