I love this place. Good, old-fashioned neighborhood cutard shop, and their Apple Pecan Pie Sundae is THEE STANDARD to delight all apple cake sunshades. Nothing is bad here, 11/10 stars

Skeeters is a locally owned Custard shop. I love to stop for a delicious treat regardless of the weather. It is a lil stand with a beautiful parking lot and a few outdoor tables to eat. You have a ride. You have LOTS from various Custard treats. Huge variety of sunbeds and concretes on the menu. My favorite menu is the strawberry shaker. In the summer I like to be here on the way to Muny and grab a shake for an early dinner. Her shake is a good thickness and has fresh mixed strawberries in it. What distinguishes Skeeters from competition is the straw! It's an extra wide straw! The strawberries came through even without problems! I'm always excited about this detail. Recently I wanted something smaller, but still a treat. I'm going to the little strawberry sundae, add hot fudge. It meets the place!!! Note that I have received a gift certificate here as a gift over the holidays. However, the certificate was for $20 and says you need to spend everything at once, no money back. I talked to the manager at my last visit to ask if there is something else we can do, as it would be difficult for me to spend $20 in a visit due to their reasonable prices. She broke it into smaller $5 values for me, which was great! I really appreciated them finding a solution and doing it.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner however is rude to her employees and customers. She also seems to have an issue with all males in general.
