A place if your in a hurry. Nothing remarkable about this pub. The steak salad was pretty good. AND free links to local baseball.

Great service, decent food, and a spacious, renovated eating area. The pub also hosts a weekly board gaming night every Monday. Visitors looking for a decent pub meal and a chance to meet some new people and play a board game should stop by.

This place was not busy on a Saturday night and I know the reason. SLOW Slow slow service. Ask for coffee or ketchup... NODice. Have to go and get it yourself. If it was busy, I could understand but it was empty except for a few patrons at the bar. With lots of other places on Elgin bank street, it is better to go somewhere else!The turducken bangers and mash (19$-wow)sounded like a good idea BUT who knew that a cook (not a chef) could dry out sausages so badly. And you could not get a steak knife to cut them YUKTime to close or REALLY improve folks

I've been here a number of time for business lunches. Great place! Good food. Great staff. Comfy, relaxed atmosphere.

Well, it wasn't our first choice to grab some breakfast on a Sunday morning. It took close to 2 hours for our classic breakfasts (read: eggs, toast, bacon, coffee) to be served. I know they only had 1 servers on, but maybe you shouldn't serve breakfast if you don't plan on staffing your restaurant appropriately. Two in our party had to cancel their order to make it to the train on time. It took 20 minutes for waters to come, another 10 for coffee, another 10 for OJ...then the food came a solid hour after ordering. BRUTAL.I know generally this place caters to the pub crowd, but if you are going to serve food, do it right.
