Baton Rouge Downtown Ottawa

Went with the servers recommendations and was not disappointed. Beer, ribs, even the baked potato accompaniment all great. All served up with efficient and friendly service.

Closed to our hotel we decided to have dinner there, I picked the ribs and my wife the salmon. We also had a couple of wine glasses each. The place was busy, service was average, food ok but and bit expensive.Could have spent that money in a better restaurant. Overall not the best bang for your bucks!

We came as a large group (about 10 people). I found the hostesses very friendly. The waitress was polite but not as pleasant as her colleagues. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time given we were a group. The meal was okay, what you would expect for a Baton Rouge as they are all pretty consistent. My steak, which was ordered rare, was more well done than my friend's which was done medium. They did replace it, but it was disappointing to start eating my main course after everyone else was done. A steakhouse shouldn't get this wrong after all. As others have mentioned, it is pricey for what you get, so the value is not the greatest.

I had a nice solo dinner. It was late too, about 10 pm. Had small side of ribs and grilled veggies. Very generous portion I thought. Ribs were fall of the bone tender. Veggies were fresh and a good assortment. Service was really nice.

The food was very good and this restaurant seems to be popular a lot of people, even some players from the Edmonton Eskimos were there. We both took the surf and turf the steak was excellent but the scampi wasn't worth it. Service was very good, but this is a pricey restaurant.
