Postofisso Pucceria Agricola - OTRANTO

A couple of things about this experience: 1) who knew Otranto was such a pretty village and 2) In Otranto, I discovered the unbelievable Pucce Salentine (a very simple sandwich bread that is made from pizza dough). We found Postofisso on Tripadvisor, and for once (it 's not always the case) the reviews and the score were accurate. Yet, nothing prepared us for the flavour explosion we experienced over lunch. Our party ordered 5 different pucce and they were all incredible. If a highlight puccia was to be elected, the mortadella and burrata one was sensational, and the tuna, cherry tomatoes and rocket was just as delicious. I would probably be back in Otranto just to eat at this delightful little gem. I feel sorry for the English couple I spotted the day before in Lecce who said Shall we get a McDonalds? .

Perfect spot for lunch! Quick, cheap and delicious! We had pucce and friselle and everything was great.

The typical „Puccia“ was amazing. It was prepared with much love and with detail. The kitchen is clean and the staff is very friendly. I would reccomand it for sure.

I had a very nice octopus pucce (sandwich) here. It was about $15 with a glass of wine. It’s not really a sit down restaurant. The setting is bar style and not that comfortable. But it’s perfect for tasty, cheap, and fast lunch.

I loved this place. 7 of my 10 lunches in Otranto were here. I tried the meat, seafood, and vegetarian options, and all were delicious. There were friendly people behind the counter, and the service was prompt. The price was very reasonable.
