Café Ironai Shokudo - Otaru

Beautiful oldschool Otaru café with over 100 years of history. Enjoy the beautiful European styled space as you listen to a soundtrack of classical music. The food and meals here are very, very reasonably priced. Come here at breakfast time, order a cup of coffee and you can make it a meal with toast, scrambled eggs and sausage for just 100 yen more. I'd also recommend trying the milk, which apparently comes from happy cows and is absolutely delicious!

We picked this place because we wanted to see a cozy place for breakfast. The Cafe was run by a gentleman who took order, prepared food, and served the dishes. We had the wiener sausage dish with an Americano coffee. It was really great. You can also order only coffee or any drink and pay an extra 100yen for a small breakfast set of egg and sausage. Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful quaint place ran by an old couple that serves breakfast at just ¥100! (No drinks included and I read somewhere you need to buy a drink) Only 1 choice of breakfast but it is good and substantial! Toast with butter and homemade peanut butter, potato salad, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and cheese. Highly recommenced!

Serving excellent breakfast set and coffee latte just round the corner of Hotel Nord Otaru. Excellent traditional atomsphere. Worth to go have breakfast at Otaru. However, matcha latte was too sweet.

I love its perfect mood. What you have to know is brunch set is provided until 11am. Also, the location in google map is wrong. You have to go one more block from the station.
