Tanimachi Ichimizen

After arrival in Osaka we looked around for a restaurant which have seats for a party of 7 on Friday night without reservation. We found this amazing place with extreme friendly staff. Even we not speaking Japanese we managed to order and got delicious Tempura and Sushi. Also everything else we ordered was very tasty. Our kids loved the restaurant. If you look for a place to eat around this area, try this one and you won’t be disappointed by the great food and the lovely staff. We will come again!

I love this place, firt of all the staff was friendly and kind since we stepped in the restaurant, you can sit at the counter and see everything what is going on in the kitchen. For 1000 yens you can get a huge Tendon bowl of rice topped with tempura and a delicious soy dressing) the tempura wasn 't very crispy. But please looks the pictures you get exactly what they have advertisement is awesome.

Excellent food. Happy to serve a lone foreigner with almost no Japanese skill

We found of about this restaurant from asking a man on the street. We were really surprised and happy about how good the food was. They have quite a selection of food. We tried the rice bowls. One topped with uni, salmon for and scallops and one with tuna and sardines. Both tasted great! We got tea and some really rich miso soup to go with it. In this restaurant you sit either at the counter or on the floor. I would recommend this, especially for lunch!

My first time eating tempura in Japan, and it was amazing! The chef complimented my rainbow hair and I had the best ginger ale of my life here.
