We settled around 1815h and brought our drinks pretty fast, even by an autonomous: but well before...seven they packed together, and we made ourselves superfluous. Too bad, because it has a nice location in a pedestrian area where the children play in the well.
Unfriendly, rude, rude... stay away from it. I'm french btw and I've been treated like nothing. They did not even return when I wished them a good day after leaving the place with my girlfriend.
We only went for an Apéro, in all righteousness, so can't say too much about the place or the food. Service was okay. Loved the view of Place du Martroi.
This Bar/Restaurant is located at place Martroi and offers a lovely view of the square. I entered and asked to use the ladies before having a drink. Very busy staff but polite. Service quick efficient. They get the business and the job done. Recommended. 3.20€...for my hot chocolate but I got my spéculos biscuit and extra sugar on the side. Nice touch indeed.
I know France is not generally known for its excellence in customer service, but this place beats all ! Yesterday my pregnant wife and I wanted to sit down at a table outside but there was only one chair so my wife sat down and...I went and borrowed an empty chair from a nearby table. Sounds familiar ? I guess so. Happens all over the world. Nope, not here ! A waitress came running at me and started yelling at me for moving chairs between tables. Apparently this was not allowed for if everyone started doing this .... . For a moment I thought I was part of some tv program where they fool you in the street but nobody came up to me to explain this was some kind of joke. We were told to wait for another table with two empty chairs and, strangely, the waitress was supported by her immediate superior ! In shock, my wife and I decided to walk over to the place next door. My advice to the owner : don 't hire people as waiters/waitresses who are more suited to work in a prison ward. Good luck coming out of the crisis.
