Lombard's Seafood Grill - Orlando

We have been to all the theme park restaurants now and this is easily the worst in quality of food. I had the fisherman’s basket and it was awful. The calamari was rubbery and not fresh, the fish batter was horrible and the chips didn’t taste good at all. I also had one of the mini squid looking things that was disgusting. My wife’s said her meal wasn’t tasty either. Service was as expected and the decor was nice but we won’t be back. It was easy to book 2 hours before we ate and I’m guessing the quality of food is probably why there was so much availability.

Was at Universal Studios enjoying the park and decided to have lunch here. We sat down and enjoyed fish and chips accompanied with a broccoli slaw. For drinks my friend ordered a bloodymary. I had a glass of rosé wine. Lunch was served quickly we were out in an hour. April our server was informative and pleasant. I caught an error in the bill and was fixed easily. Will definitely return if I am in the area.

The only reason I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars is because of our server Jose and the decent bottle of wine. It started badly when they didn’t have our reservation. Luckily we had it saved so they sat us. The overpriced food was horrible. I had the golden gate noodle bowl with chicken which literally tasted like spaghetti-os with grilled chicken on top. Luckily spaghetti os is one of my nostalgic favorites so I did eat it, but I’ll take the can versus paying $26.00. My best friend got the tuna poke which was meh but her side salad was pathetic for the price. It was just chunks of iceberg lettuce with two slices of cucumber and two slices of tomato… with some not so great dressing. If you’re eating in Universal, pass on Lombards and head to Finnegans. We had great food and service there for better prices.

Obviously any large park such as this is going to have prices through the roof, but I wasn't expecting the food to be that bland. My salad was honestly pretty good, but then again, a salad doesn't take a lot of energy to prepare. The Spinach dip was very GREESY. The coleslaw was very vinegary on my husband's order. I really didn't find anything special about the food. Our server wanted to go off in the corner to chat and make her rounds at other tables than to welcome us warmly. She seemed much in a hurry and didn't smile at all. I love Universal, but I highly doubt I will go to this restaurant again.

Our food was great, and we are very picky. We all had different dishes (lobster roll, seafood alfredo, shrimp and grits, ceasar salad, ocean bowl). All were great. The restaurant itself was beautiful and a welcome relief from the crowds and heat. What made this a wonderful dining experience, was our server, Gabi. She was Awesome! We are a family with 4 kids, and we kept her very busy …more napkins, straws, refills, etc. Not only was she patient, one of my daughters had left her (ridiculously expensive) Harry Potter headband at the table, and Gabi ran after us to return it!!! Great family dining!! Thank you, Gabi!,
