Great food...everything was so tasty. All the fermented veggies they serve with the meal were fantastic, each with different flavors that unique and delicious. If you have a large party, insist on two grills. Our party of 7 was put at a table with one tiny grill and it took us HOURS to cook all the food for everyone.
Absolutely love the food here. Egg drop soup was the best I’ve had so far. The Korean dumplings and rice cakes soup was so delicious. Boyfriend ordered the jajangmyeon noodles and he said it was good. I could care less about the tofu appetizer, though. Our waitress forgot the sauce for the tofu appetizer and appeared to be a little bit rude at first. However, she and the other staff was nice when we asked for the bill and containers for our leftovers. All in all, it’s a decent place and I’d visit again.
I love sikhye Korean rice tea so I had to order one for my little man and one for me since I don't like sharing any of my favorite tea. We ordered seafood pancake. It was crispy and delicious with this house dipping sauce. (Update: If you do end up being home the leftover pancake, you can crisp it up in the air fryer. I reheat in my Cuisinart Air Fryer for 5 to 7 minutes at 350F. It won't taste good reheated in the microwave. I got beef bulgogi bento lunch special for my little man. He and I didn't like that. The beef was overcooked and on the dry side. The server recommended that and said it would be tender for my son. I won't be ordering that again. I ordered Galbi entree and Rachel ordered the bulgogi entree. It supposed to come with 6 little sides for each entree but the server gave us six and told us to share. I see how this can be a problem for some people who are not comfortable with the idea of sharing these little sides especially if not within the family even if the server said to share and she can refill when we are done with a side. Customer service was friendly except for the part of being stingy with giving each of the six sides that comes with the entree. Cleanliness...hmmm...if you are a clean freak with a slight OCD like me, you might find the windows' ledges super duper dusty. It makes me feel they never cleaned their windows since the day they opened this place. It was a bit bothersome having my little man sitting at the table next to the window. He likes to touch everything. I never pay attention to the floors, windows, walls, and under the tables in restaurants until I start bringing my kids to eat out. Overall, if this is owned by the same owner five years ago, then they have improved greatly compared to the one-star review I gave five years ago.
Was a little understandable to enter the place because it looks like an old KFC restaurant. I'm so glad I gave this place a chance! The food was phenomenal. We have made the grill and they have this neat special, that is $30 all you can eat and it was 9 different meats and they came with rice, some pages and either Edamame or dumplings. The staff was also very attentive and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!
