Brantley's Village - Oriental

Great food ,good people, and good southern hospitality,

We went here with a church group. Great waitress. She had approx 28-30 people. If you get the seafood bar you can go up after the waitress takes your drink order. Water, soda, ice tea is free with buffet. Buffet was $26. Plus tax per person. There are several other dishes you can get that are 11. To 20. pretax. Resturant was not loud, but has a lot of people that come here. 2 different rooms to sit in. I don’t have a photo today, but we are going back and will get one then.

Food was Ok. Service rather slow, though I did come around 9am for breakfast. Got 2 eggs over-easy and they were oddly bland. I guess most places use grease or butter to cook and add flavor. Bacon was crispy and very good. Grits also good. Biscuits and gravy were Ok, but made with a sausage that wasn’t too my liking. Coffee a bit watery.

Mostly good food. Great service and staff. And cheap

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. I started going with my family decades ago. We just celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary there and the food is still amazing and the people are fantastic. This restaurant is the jewel of Oriental.
