Absolutely PHENOMENONAL!I recently travelled from Ireland contacted this bakery to help out by making me a special request cake. They're communication was amazing regardless of our time difference. The cake was absolutely spectacular tasted DIVINE! I got some croissants when picking up the cake they were sooooooo good! So glad I ground this wonderful lady amazing bakery! Highly recommended!

The customer service here is very poor but the sandwiches are delicious (the cakes are too sweet for our liking but that’s a personal preference). Sadly with so many options in town that offer competent service and even better food, this one gets overshadowed.

I went to the restaurant to do a quote because we often do work for them. It was the end of the day at 5pm and they insisted on giving me some food before I left. Let me tell you, it's the best Portuguese food in town!

Bought a chocolate cake costing $46.The cake is much tooooo sweet, even my 10 yr old could not tolerate it (for a kid who loves cake). It was like we ate a plate of sugar?. The cake to icing ratio is way off =ing much too sweet. This cake was too pricey for the quality and quantity.

During COVID, Son of a Chef changed hands. The new owners kept the name but upped the game when it comes to delicious bakery items. Always so welcoming, the most outgoing and friendly staff make you smile every time and that is before you have placed your order. From the homemade breakfast and lunch items to their fully stocked bakery items you won't leave disappointed. As an added bonus, if you go on Saturday mornings are you not only greeted with the most delicious bakery smells but the owner, from a family recipe makes, the most incredible homemade Portuguese donuts. Don't let the size fool you-they are light and fluffy and you won't be able to stop eating them. Run don't walk though as these are very popular and don't last long. The best Saturday morning treat in town!
