Anepalco Cafe - Orange

The menu was interesting and they are clearly trying to re invent standard Mexican dishes. Our party of five enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio; the music in the dining room was too loud for us to hear each other. The cocktails lacked flavor. Two entrees arrived under room temperature too cool. The Carnitas were dry and stringy; my Enchiladas Rojas were spicy hot but lacking in complexity of flavor. It was disappointing.

Anepalco is a hidden gem for those looking for an upscale Mexican food dining experience. Excellent, flavorful food and well-crafted cocktails. I've been several times now, and it never fails to delight.

The food is tasty, it is great, really, and so are the drinks.

Very nixe and quaint restaurant attached to the hotel on the corner. Very delicious and flavorful food. The building has high ceilings ands beautiful decor. Nice big bar. Outdoor covered seating as well. Would recommend to anyone wanted to try elevated Mexican dishes.

I used to love this place, but the food has gone downhill. It came out cold and stale.
