La Hacienda - Opelousas

I highly recommend La Hacienda in Opelousas. I’ve been to other locations, but the owner and the friendly staff here are always so lively and upbeat. The food is amazing, and the service is incredibly quick, making it hard to beat this place!

The food, service, and decor were all satisfactory. However, I found the enormous television to be a distracting presence. Not only was it overwhelming in size, but the program it was airing, which featured everyday people yelling and pushing each other, was unappealing. I would not feel comfortable bringing my children to this restaurant. When I visit a Mexican restaurant, I want to enjoy the ambiance created by the decor and background music, not be confronted with a giant TV screen. If I'm in the mood for watching sports, I'll choose a different venue.

Hacienda has been one of my favorite restaurants for the past few years, serving delicious Mexican dishes with consistently excellent service. I've tried a variety of menu items, but I keep coming back for the chicken fajitas.
