Charlie's on the Lake - Omaha

Get over the smell. For years I have boycotted this place because I couldn't get past the smell of damp, blue cheese, and something else disgusting mixed in. Finally my husband dragged me in and we had a good meal. I've been told time and time again that it is fancy, which is definitely not the case. Just good food for a good price. The shrimp cocktail is pretty whimpy, but the grat prices on bottles of wine will make you forget about that!

Always Happy!. We've been here several times always have good service great food. My personal favorite is the raspberry salmon. Last time we had the buffalo wings as an app they were very different delicious (more like small pieces of flat steak than wings)! Patio is a must during the summer with awesome martinis!

No complaints. This restaurant, once a chain of 3, but now just the original, has a nice atmosphere and an extensive, seafood focused menu. The lounge is a popular watering hole on weekends. We have always liked the food. Prices are moderate.Outdoor dining is offered in nice weather.

Bring Your Appetite. I have been to this place several times and tried numerous dishes. I have yet to be disappointed in the food or the service at this place. The portions are huge for the price, and the flavor is amazing as well. They have a good variety of dishes, which are amazing. Don't let the tacky decor fool you. This place has food and service which make up for it.
