The food was tasty but seemed very expensive to this tourist, and I am from a very high cost of living area. Dinner for four, no alcoholic drinks, with four desserts and tip, $300. I debated whether to give the service three or four stars. The runners were clearly very stressed and in a hurry. Our server was nice but seemed more attentive to other diners. This restaurant is very dark. Handicap accessibility is a bit challenging. The bread was super delicious and free which is very nice. Would go back maybe once a year and order something less expensive.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. Definitely recommend!
We have been to The Peekamoose inn twice now and our only regret is that we don’t live closer so that we could dine here more often. The staff is exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. The food is perfectly portioned and so delicious, it’s hard to choose what to order. The cocktails were interesting and well crafted and the prices are fair considering the quality of the offerings. I love this place and can’t wait to go back.
Here’s a question…what if they built a perfect restaurant in the Catskill mountains? Well, they did and it’s called Peekamoose. The atmosphere is enchanting. The food, too good to describe. The service feels like you’ve just made some new friends. And the host/owner Mary Beth is so charming and welcoming it makes you wonder why you’ve ever eating elsewhere. This place is a master class on how restaurant should be…I only wish it was located an hour closer to the city
