La Casa Del Carmen - Olias del Rey

The dinner with a group of friends. the service was really attentive and warm. eating was just the one savory side, but I'm pretty good at it. the porridges were cooked very well!

Traveling through Spain, a friend of mine insisted that we go to one of their favorite restaurants. michelin star rated la casa del carmen just out toldeo. it certainly does not have much from the outside, or even from the inside, but eating was manifico! after. the 5 curses I felt sure it was Christmas and came home for a nod. the value for money is amazing given its rating. next time I'll have breakfast before I go!

Tired and weary from our redeye flight into span, we drove towards Toledo looking for somewhere to eat. We took a chance stopping at an impressive building which looked like a restaurant, only to find it deserted. a few meters down the sideroad we spotted...an entrance to an unassuming opening. We were ready to try anything. Imagine our surprise and delight to find ourselves in one of the best places we have ever eaten. A team of dedicated polite waiters not a word of English between them introduced us to a fantastic meal. Everything from the exquisite olive oil and the wine selection, to the bread and olives, was .... I've never used this on tripadvisor sublime. every dish ( I won't write them down, they were all typical local dishes fish, game, oxtail) from started to dessert was excellent and the 3 course menu including wine and coffee was all of 13 Euros each!!!! Gracias to the chef wish I could go again.... what a terrific introduction to lovely Spain :)

Excelente atención de la camarera Noelia, tanto a nivel personal como profesional. Un 10 para ella y para el encargado también. Es un buen lugar para comer.

I was with a group of about 30 people, so my opinion is probably biased. I think the service will be better for small groups. first, the staff never filled empty water bottles. all main dishes came cold (fish and pork). fortunately, the rest of the food should be served cold. eating tastes good, but it lacks creativity.
