Pasta Vita Inc - Old Saybrook

My family stopped to get a lunch before we went to Harvey's beach, and we didn't know it was a “inner To-Go” place first, but we could get what we needed. My Italian cooking salad was fresh and delicious! My husband enjoyed his Italian sub, and we have a Buffalo chicken sandwich for later tonight. The children chose fruit salad, chips and made cookies at home. Yum! This facility was very clean, friendly and busy! Many parking spaces. Thank you. Pasta Vita

I first heard of this gem from my boss and of course had to check it out for myself and am I glad I did!!! Just imagine that you’re a child again and all the candy you ever dreamed of was yours for the taking (paying) !!! Rows upon rows of deliciousness everything under the sun!! The shrimp scampi is to die for and shepherds pie

I have never ordered anything that wasn't absolutely delicious at this restaurant. Everything is so tasty! I really wish they had Veal Marsala on the menu though. The Chicken Marsala is also very good. I always check the current menu to pick out a few dishes for the week. I saw someone mention the chocolate cake they had, and now I'm craving a big slice of it. In response to another review by Maryanne Atlas, I'm not sure if she knows how to cook at all. The scalloped potatoes don't have cheese - they are just potatoes, onions, and a creamy butter sauce. Next time, make sure you know what you're ordering.

Quick service, welcoming staff, excellent variety of delicious food. We had a wonderful experience on our first visit and would highly recommend this restaurant. The only minor disappointment was the Tiramisu, but everything else was absolutely delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Lasagna and the garlic bread was also exceptional. The garden salad was top-notch. And the chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
