Luigi's - Old Saybrook

Aside from the great service and dinner…this place has to be the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been to. Says a lot! We’ll definitely make this a regular.

We've been going here for years. We ordered two grinders for takeout, and they came to $35. They only have one size now, which I don't understand why except to make more money. I can't eat a whole large grinder, so it's a waste of money because you can't reheat a sandwich with lettuce and mayo. I know prices have gone up, but not everyones wallet has. It would be nice for restaurants to accommodate for that. We will now have to go someplace else for grinders.

I have been here with family and friends multiple times. Each and every time, everyone has loved the food. My personal favorite is the Chicken Leonardo!! I order it every time.

The food here is excellent. We went here after attending a funeral. The staff was kind. The setting is nice. The location is conveniently located on route 1 and the area is safe. There was plenty of parking. Everything about the place was great. The best part though, was the food. Everything was good from beginning to the end, appetizers to dessert. My wife makes her own sauce, so we are a little picky in regard to pasta sauce and we both agree, this place knows how to make a proper sauce. If you are going to have Italian food and want dessert, you got to talk about the cannoli, and they were delicious here! So, if you are in the area and want some very good Italian food, go to where the locals go (always a good move), go to Luigi's!

Our go to place for a nice meal. Good food and good service. Recently reopened after repairs from water damage, it looks good!
