Pedro's Tacos - Oceanside

Hands down.. the most awful burrito I’ve ever purchased. Super greasy, half the size of their competitors while still being the same price, the little bit of carne asada that was in the burrito was rubbery, and they used a tremendous amount pico/cabbage to fill the space.Do better.

Wow!! What a great meal! I got two potato tacos that were huge and tasted amazing! They crisp up the tater tots really well and even with the cabbage, sauce and salsa, they stayed crisp. Highly recommend!

Food was below average, staff looked depressed and not wanting to be there, glass coke was sitting in fridge for so long when cap was removed it had rust, but the Salsa was surprisingly good especially the red sauce.Food: 3/5

This is hard to write a negative review because the burritos CAN be SO good and fresh and generously made. But 2 major bad food incidences from the drive thru and I think I sadly have to tap out to make sure I don 't get sick from here. 1st one a couple of years back was the bean and cheese burrito 's tortilla had gone rancid. I could smell it in the bag as I was already driving home. When I took it out, sure enough, that familiar rancid smell wafted off of it. I called them and he said Oh, just let us know next time and we 'll give you a free one . Great, except I live an hour and a half away and don 't get out there more than once every couple of months. That was $8 lost. Today 's bad food incident takes the cake. My chicken fajita burrito was on point, as it usually is. Fresh, hot, generous in size. But the shredded chicken burrito had to have been a deliberate action as there is NO WAY they threw this into my bag not knowing it was COLD, that it was LESS THAN HALF the size of what it should have been and was almost ALL tortilla, and SO CRUSTY OLD that I couldn 't even bite through the tortilla!!! Opened it up in the car while driving home and the shredded chicken was cold and OLD. Just NASTY. Look at the picture, this might have even been in the trash for all I know!? I am not exaggerating on any of my comments here, the shredded chicken burrito was absolutely FOUL OLD, and there is NO WAY they didn 't know it. That is now another $8 lost. Almost $20 in the toilet due to incompetency or whatever their problem is.
