No one really welcomed us, told us what was great, the concept explained, suggestions offered or really smiled. it was so amazingly decorated and felt like we were transported into a tropical place. we were all abandoned by the service, and honestly, the drinks were too sweet, and everyone felt only to them. So when you know everything I shared, you will probably have good expectations. it is a funny photo spot.
On the roof terrace bar someone should take them on the table they reserved because it caused a problem with us take a table that was reserved without us knowing
The service was great! eating is usually small teller, like tapas, but very tasty! eating is just a tad expensive for what it is. a really funny experience!
We go for the view of the Thursday Sunset Street Fair. The rooftop offers the perfect perch to enjoy free live music, people watching, the sunset, and the Pier lights at sundown. The cocktails are beautifully presented, flavorful, and hella strong. The menu is not veg friendly and they are always out of the cauliflower. The food prices seem high a $6 oyster should be delicious but I was disappointed in size (small) and prep (tough). Go for the drinks! Eat at the Fair!
Food was undercook and portions resemble that of tapas size. The prawns were more like just prawns as the rest of the body was missing. It was a sizable head but no tails. The ribeye steak was not of very good quality. For the price of the food this place really needs to work on it. Ambiance has potential and so does the service. We got there and employees were still decorating and getting ready for the night, only 1 portable heater for a space that needs to accommodate over 100 people. It’s disappointing to see such a potential for what can be the best and maybe only rooftop restaurant in Oceanside. I’ve seen better, had better at other rooftops in NYC, LA, Milan, London and sure it’s Oceanside but there is no need to serve mediocracy.
