The Rice House - Ocean City

Really inconsistent. If it's bad, it's really bad. Tonight my last attempt was to eat here, sushi rice was mush and my egg roll turned out to be a shrimp roll good, which I am not allergic. Too expensive, constantly falling the ball.

I don't know how this place has so good reviews! I ordered takeout and it was terrible!! The fried rice was so eclectic- texture of oat flour, not fried or even torn and simply terrible. Tsos Chicken and Bourbon Chicken was overcooked and lack of taste. Terrible, overpriced Chinese food.

No fan to peel the shrimps in my Lo Mein. Very tasteful, enjoyed it for the most part. Only recommend peeling shrimp before serving. I'll try a new duck soon.

Great food, beautiful place and people. Would be ideal if more gluten-free options are available. You have wine and beer.

Pricey and mostly disappointing takeout. I wouldn't order from here again. Average portion sizes for very high prices. The food was a mixed bag. The Mongolian beef was EXCELLENT. The moo shu pork was very disappointing. The streamed dumplings were just okay, but the dumpling sauce was terrible. The spicy edamame were very good. The pad Thai was also very good. The service for pickup was very good, with no complaints. The dining area looked to be clean and pleasant. Bottom line, it was just too expensive for average, at best, Chinese takeout.
