Landgasthof Zu Reckin's Eiche

In a few days we will return here symbolically with a meal. So we are irregularly following a tradition, because since 2008 our Christmas and annual celebration has been here at irregular intervals. In an additional room a long table was prepared for us. There was an additional table for the gifts. So we put our gifts in a big bag so nobody can see who's in there. These are then placed on the additional table. The packaged packages contain scrap as intended for use by the carriers. Then we take all the place and after a short greeting and a liquid warming it begins, so the celebration, no game. We're talking about junks. There are two cube cups each with one cube. These are now used in the sense of the inventor, we dice one by one. I'll get a package. This is good until the table is empty and each package has an owner. But not every possible owner has a package. The game's not over. It's thrown further, there's six more. But Uwe also has one and takes it away from me. After an agreed time, the end and those who do not have a package will get one of the several owners until everyone has one. Then it opens. Last year were in the largest and most beautiful Groschenromane and an expired Sanikasten, so you can fool yourself. Others found baking mixes, household appliances, children's toys, car polishing, Christmas jewellery, candy, glasses, house aprons, incandescent lamps and and and, and, all that was no longer needed. After we went out and had hunger, it was about the main thing, the food. First we got the card where we found a name-explaining attempt besides food and drinks. For those who had escaped as a refugee, it was already important, it contained the food á la carte. For all other parties, some goose skin (with lumps/potatoes and red/green cabbage) were ordered. The good German cuisine here has tasted us all very well. The sauce was sharp, not out of the bag. The steels perfectly lubricated. The cook understands his subject. The food came very fast and was mega-rich. In taste it was not difficult for us to eat everything, free according to the motto: to pamper the stomach as a gift for the host! The operation was very attentive, not intrusive and it was fast. My family was already here and my impressions and memories were confirmed. I think we'll try again. Today unfortunately for the last time you enjoyed your bombastic carving. You were a great team both and always the right words for JEDEN We are sad but let your fellows enjoy the overtime and retirement and wish all good and a long happy life.

Never experienced such an impossible and rude staff in a restaurant, never again in these sheds! Luckily, they'll be too soon!
