Mccarthy's Irish Pub - Oaxaca

There is nothing Irish about this place except the green paint on the walls. No Irish food no Irish beer. The food is finger food and all is cold. This place just sucks. The service is on par with most Mexican bars. I don't know what else I can say about this place. Oh the Mexican music is blaring If I could I would give it zero stars

Went here to watch the Super Bowl, got off to a good start. Happy hour beers and one mixed drink delivered. Many of the advertised drinks were not available. No one ever came back to get our food order after repeatedly asking for assistance. Left before halftime and found a different bar. When we left the expediter was sitting at the entrance eating. He could have cared less. The space was really dark and felt dirty.

Irish guy here. The fact that there isn't another review by an Irish person might just give you a hint on what to expect (or not to expect actually) here. Suffice to say, none of the usual draught expectations from an Irish bar, hard rock blasting through the PA. Food menu in Spanish only. No Irish staff to be seen. Just bad representation of you ask me.

Actually the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. The burger was awful and soggy, and I’m still experiencing food poisoning symptoms from the horrible chicken wings. Avoid this place.

I’ve been there twice and the food has been very cold each time. You can find better sports bars with better food and beer selection. Don’t recommend
