Pizza Pizza - Oakville

We only buy our pizzas from Pizza Pizza at Upper Middle Road East, Oakville as the pizzas are amazing. This is an excellent Pizza store, the best in Oakville!

I have been visiting this location for years and gotten to know the owners and staff. They are so kind and funny, I always enjoy seeing them when I go in for a pick-up order. Furthermore, they saved my family on NYE 2017. We tried to get food from somewhere else, and it was just nuts. I went around the corner and got our usual order SO FAST, for one of the busiest days of the year. Everyone went from hungry and cranky, to full and fabulous!

As a visitor from England, I came to the great continent of America wit very high hopes of some classic favourites. Pizza is - and let's be real here - probably the greatest food to grace God's magnificent planet and so the competition is steep when you see pizza joints on just about every street - particularly in Toronto. The range this night was slim. It was 3am on New Year's Day and naturally the stores were all closed to celebrate (and I do hope they all had a great new year) and Pizza Pizza WAS in fact open! Not only was it open, but they were also delivering. "Why not? I'm starving and I could really use a cheese pizza" I told my girlfriend - also hungry. We ordered online to our Airbnb which was awkwardly set in the back garden (or yard) and they still delivered. Even offered free chilli flakes! Also the promise of free food if it's longer than 40 minutes was not an ambitious ask as it arrived after 30! Superb! And for around $10(CAD) delivered, the 16 inch pizza was truly one to remember.

Any Pizza Pizza really is the same. It's nice that these guys are consistent. I absolutely am obsessed with the dill dip... I put that on everything.

The title says it all, it is generic pizza, generic at its core.Truly unprovocative and bland. There is nothing to differentiate this pizza pizza from the hundreds of others across the GTA.However I do despise when they heat a panzo up and it is cold on the inside because it has been sitting there for 7 hours. So across the board, at around 95% of all pizza pizza's I've been too, in Oakville or GTA, the service is worse than average, and the pizza is sub-par. I do love my local delivery guy for Pizza Pizza however, great guy, but I haven't seen him recently as I rarely order from here anymore unless I am very hungry.So my opinion is to go the extra distance, find something more worthwhile with better reviews, and then you may appreciate this review.
