We ordered a horchata , she still gave soda. Third, we ordered quesabirria and consome , she didn't put the console in the bag. 4th issue the only thing in the street tacos are dried up meat and sliced radish . I spent good $65-$70. No longer will I be spending my money at Frontera . This is Hella disappointing.
Heed the advice of other reviews! I wish I would’ve. Ordered through Doordash and fully half of my order was completely missing. What was there was cold and missing ingredients. A total ripoff.
Ordered through door dash. Time wait was longer but figured they were busy. By the time the good came no consome was delivered with the order. I would’ve understood if it were just one but we ordered three and none came. Some of the birria was dry which made it hard to eat. Where the son is at in the picture was where the hard crunchy rice was at. I kept trying to eat it to see if it would get better but I was sadly mistaken. The cheese and beans have the rice the flavor it was missing. Will not be ordering again from here
4.19 extra for consommé for 3 birria tacos! My birria's tortilla wasn't even dipped in consommé. It was dry. Wasn't like that last 5 times I went. It's Sad cause they used to be good
It 's a solid 3 stars, since with everything about it to like, there 's typically something about it to dislike. Example: I Love their Birria tacos and Quesabirrias. But they are quite heavy 99% certain they fry the shells in lard. I enjoy the hell out of it, it 's authentic AF, but it tends to be too heavy for my wife and will give her gastric distress every time. I also love how when ordering delivery through doordash or caviar, they give you all sorts of removal options for your burrito like no rice or no beans, and additions like add lettuce, salsas, etc. What annoys me about these option selections vis a vis menu item selections is that when ordering crispy tacos vs super crispy tacos (my favorite) whether or not the regular crispy tacos actually arrive without sour cream is a toss up. Why sour cream? I typically am disgusted by sour cream, and based on the item description, they should be my go to. The difference should be that only the super taco gets it; sour cream and pico de gallo atop lettuce and cheese, while the regular taco is just lettuce and cheese. Fortunately it 's usually a fixable mistake when it 's added as the last topping so I can just scrape it off with a napkin and replace the crema tainted lettuce and cheese with some of my own. The best thing about this restaurant that has no evil twin doppelganger is that they offer many various sizes for all their salsas, and have a lot of different salsas, all of which are outstanding. Lots of variety and portion control allows for very little waste. While it may seem like a menial detail, fresh chips and salsa are what makes waiting at any busy/casual mexican restaurant worth the wait and these guys nail it.
