I have visited this restaurant before, but on my daughter's 18th birthday, we had a craving about two weeks after our visit to Roscoe's in LA. Initially, we felt that Roscoe's was much better, but I have to say that Embarcadero's version really impressed me. The food was served quickly and it was piping hot. Our waitress was very sweet and the customer service was excellent. The food was amazing with generous portions. I also appreciated that I could get food at midnight, as they are open until 4am on Saturdays. I was initially concerned about being in Oakland that late, but there was security outside the door who were very courteous and made us feel safe. Kudos to the owner for running a great establishment!

If you plan on coming on a Sunday, be prepared to wait patiently. This was my first visit to the restaurant with my friends. While we waited, we decided to order bottomless mimosas. I tried the Angie's special and it was absolutely delicious! Normally, I can never finish my entire meal because the portions are so large, but this dish was so tasty that I ate every last bite. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Yummy food, lovely customer service. Also reasonably priced. Homestyle waffle and chicken meals, I had the chicken and waffles with strawberries and cream. it came with a side of grits. Soooo good!

The food was scrumptious and the service was fast and friendly! Love love Love this place!!
