The Ol Kettle - Oakhurst

The bread was burnt and hard to even bite! The fries where soggy as hell we didnt get the fruit we ordered and the sprite didnt have anyflavor to it im highly disappointed!

Food was great... but the amount of time to prepare order was way too long

I was excited to try a new restaurant, but it turned out to be Denny's. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great choice for DoorDash. The container was filled with condensation, which made the toasted bread soggy and lifeless. I had to put it in the oven to revive it. The turkey was just a folded mess in the middle of the bread, topped with a small slice of tomato. The added avocado was merely an eighth of a wedge, with some skin left on and discoloration around the pit. The French fries were thick and undercooked, lacking crispiness, and even after trying to fix them in the oven, they didn’t improve. The ranch dressing was a highlight, but the cucumber salad wasn’t worth the $3.25; it was mostly vinaigrette with very few cucumbers or onions. For dessert, instead of cheesecake, I received a strawberry shortcake made with pound cake and chocolate ice cream. The cake had a stale taste, though the strawberries were fresh and not overly mushy. Overall, it was the type of meal where you take a few disappointing bites and end up tossing the rest in the trash.

The Giddy Up Melt is an incredible dish! It has fantastic flavor and is really fresh!

The pound cake was delicious, but the only fruit served was grapes.
